Hi
I am now over the moon to tell you, that Richard has had a temporary paralysis- he has not had a stroke! the test show no stroke and it is thought it is relapse relating to Guillian Barre which he had about 5 yrs ago.
All of this is triggered by severe stress.
what a life! He might be able to come home over the weekend.
Love to all

Guillian Barre xx I hadn't heard about this condition until 4 years ago, when my brother was struck down with it. Like Richard, he made a full recovery, scary as it was. I guess I am not surprised that it can relapse. All the very best for his swift return to you, and full health.

Jenni
What a relief about Richard. I have been thinking about you all since your first post about Richard. My Sister had Guillan Barre about 15 years ago. She was very ill for a while but recovered. She now runs her own pub and works 15+ hours per day with no problems. It is a very frightening disease but luckily it is much more readily recognised nowadays.
Hopefully you will both be looking forward to some good health and make the most of the Summer (if it ever arrives).
Take care
Jackie xx
